Jayk Gallagher

JJayk Gallagher is a working actor and a former partner (now client) in the Talent Management Division of Insomnia Media Group. Jayk has appeared in numerous national commercials as well as in shows on Comedy Central, E! and MTV. This month he will shoot a role in "The Social Network" directed by David Fincher. Jayk has appeared in numerous national commercials as well as in shows on Comedy Central, E! and MTV. He plays Brandon Dedd in the soon-to-be-released indie "The Dedd Brothers". Recent client bookings include such shows as Lie To Me, Heroes, Greek, Monk, Melrose Place, Raising The Bar, Party Down, 90210 and more.

After graduating Emerson College in 2004 with a BA in Theater Studies: Acting and Directing, Jayk wrote, produced and performed "Flesh Eating Leftists", a biting sociopolitical comedy well-reviewed in the Boston press, then promptly shipped out for Los Angeles. Upon arrival, Gallagher adapted his work to create "Jayk Gallagher Kills Hollywood", a raucous DIY pilot which led to comedic series for Current TV, Jumpbox TV, Warner Brothers Studio 2.0 and Fremantle Media. With his newfound passion for new media marketing, Gallagher spearheaded campaigns for Sun Microsystems, Hollywood Arts+Media and local bands.

When not appearing in commercials for Jeep, Adidas, Wendy's, Wienerschnitzel, Xbox, Yellow Pages, Roundtable Pizza, Amstel, Fry's Electronics, Vodafone, Diet Dr Pepper, Trivial Pursuit, AM/PM, Guitar Center and more, Jayk directs theater, writes screenplays and even raps. He started managing talent 2 years ago, and now steers an extremely talented roster of clients with his business partner, Erik Heintz.
